The key to stopping breast cancer is finding it early. 1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer. But you can help protect the ones you love. Commit to a breast health screening, and tell 10 friends to do the same through the Kohl’s Cares Conversation Starter Facebook App. Watch your conversation grow when your friends encourage others to get screened and see how far your message can travel. It’s an act of love that will lead and empower those around you. Chances are, your example will save someone’s life.

Kohl’s Conversations for the Cure Program

Last year in Southeast Wisconsin, more than 280 women died from breast cancer. Kohl’s Conversations for the Cure, brought to you through a partnership between Kohl’s Cares and the Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is an educational session where women can talk openly about breast cancer and the potential impact it can have on their lives. The goal of these sessions is to encourage women to get regular breast health screenings, thereby increasing survival rates throughout Southeast Wisconsin. A ribbon creates awareness but it can’t cure breast cancer. If you want to truly make a difference, it takes action.
